Power Electronics Engineer

Power Electronics Engineer - 6 months contract, high power, automotive

Amoria Bond are looking for skilled, creative Power Electronic Engineers who are capable of delivering high standards on fast paced, challenging projects.

This is an amazing opportunity to work with a leading company based in the West Midlands. They work within the automotive industry as well as in energy storage. The contract is initially for 6 months but with the likelihood of extension. The successful Power Electronics Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle development, dc/dc converters, and also for producing specification for customer requirements.

Essential skills include:

*Power Electronics experience
*Experience in motors and Inverters
*Switch mode power systems at a design level
*Experience in high voltage - up to 1KV
*Experience of using Altium
*Analogue/digital design experience
*Experience of working with a mixture of voltages: low-high
