ROLE SUMMARY
- Knowledge of fraud industry
- Excellent analytical skills
- Must be sufficient in SAS or SQL (coding)
- Numerate degree or experience
- Stakeholder management and communication skills
- Credit Risk knowledge is a preference
SPEC SUMMARY
- Proficiency in performing data analysis utilizing a standard statistical package such as SAS (preferred) or SPSS. A clear understanding of the methods underlying predictive modelling.
- Experience in the financial industry, depending on BBS portfolio we will require experience within a card environment (for the GCP portfolio), consumer loans (for BPF) or acquiring fraud (GPA)
- Completion of a degree in a numerate or semi-numerate subject or significant relevant experience.
- Knowledge of the Fraud operating environments and a good understanding of the drivers of Fraud profitability.
- Understanding of issues relating to card and non-card fraud. Knowledge of each fraud type and their typical attributes
