Position: Warehouse Operative
Location: Manchester
Salary: £7.50 per hour
Working Hours: 8:00am to 16:30pm, Monday to Friday
The Company:
Our client is a leading Automation and Drives repair company operating from two service centres based in Slough and Manchester. Their business is the diagnosis and repair of industrial power electronics, which includes AC and DC drives, Soft-starts and Servo drives.
They are now looking to employ a Warehouse Operative based at their Manchester site.
The Warehouse Operative Role:
This Warehouse Operative position calls for a conscientious individual with an eye for detail. Applicants should be well presented at all times.
The successful candidate will report to the Service Manager and will also liaise with engineers and admin staff. The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for the packaging of stock and warehouse operations.
The key tasks of the Warehouse Operative role will be as follows;

- Manage the warehouse and workshop areas to keep it tidy and clear of obstruction
- Arrange and control deliveries into and out of warehouse
- Lift/pedestrian truck experience is desirable
- Heavy lifting will be required
- Good organisational skills with customers and couriers
- Good administration skills
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Enthusiasm to learn and ability to take initiative
