The Role

The Area Sales / Business Development Executive will manage sales activity within the territory including management and growth of existing accounts and the identification and development of new business opportunities to both public sector ( NHS ) and private (care homes, nursing homes, hospitals etc.) markets.

Our client is a market-leading developer and manufacturer of wireless radio nurse call systems - the product of choice for a wide range of clients in the residential care homes, hospitals, NHS, nursing homes, clinics, hospice sector. As experts in their field, they provide a professional service from initial consultation through to installation and after-sales support. With sales, service and support offices around the UK, they are looking for an aspiring sales and business development professional to cover the areas listed above.

The Candidate

The Area Sales / Business Development Executive will have a previous track record in sales and selling of technical / engineered / manufactured equipment to the marketplace.

Specific product / sector knowledge is not required as full training will be provided but any experience gained in the field of public sector ( NHS ) medical sales or private sector - hospitals / care homes / hospices etc. would be advantageous.

Most important is your ability to identify and develop sales opportunities and the ability to communicate technical aspects of the product to the medical / private care / NHS community.

The Area Sales / Business Development Executive will travel extensively within their territory and a full UK driving licence is essential for the role.
