They now have an opportunity available for a Marketing and Sales Support Executive to join them to develop and implement appropriate marketing plans and carry out sales support activities in line with the requirements of the Industrial Sales Team to assist them with achieving sales and margin targets and growth ambitions.
Project managing and developing local level market segment plans, you will develop on line and offline messaging to enhance and develop business branding and, in conjunction with the General Manager, manage a local marketing agency to ensure correct messaging and appropriate value for money. Providing sales support to the project sales team, you will help to implement a sales support strategy consistent with the business vision and values whilst managing and identifying sales lead opportunities via the website, following these up and converting to Segment Manager sales leads.
Developing a CRM process to enable improved segmentation and customer profiling, you must monitor and analyse e-shot campaigns to ensure increased sales lead conversion and build, and update mailing databases; responding to requests for literature and samples. You must also carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness and conduct regular competitor analysis to ensure sales team members are up to date with activities.
Educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in Sales & Marketing, you should have significant proven experience in a Sales support / marketing role; direct field sales experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Able to work both as part of a team and autonomously, you must hold excellent project management skills, a proven track record in delivery and be highly motivated and able to manage your own time and work on own initiative. A highly effective communicator, you should have exceptional written, presentation and interpersonal skills and strong IT skills, experience of online activities, including SEO, website and EDM.
