Our client is an international specialist in engineering geophysics and non-destructive investigation of the ground and the built environment including highways, railways, buildings and structures. As part of the global Group of geoscience companies they can offer a career path within a small friendly team that has the potential to develop in many directions.
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Technician to join their already established Infrastructure team.
Your duties will be supporting the fieldwork and office of project engineers undertaking other geophysical, geotechnical and non-destructive investigations. The successful applicant will be someone who is flexible with the ability to assist in the data acquisition and processing of many different techniques. Your duties may require travel both within the UK and Worldwide.
Duties to include
Support our project teams involved with non-destructive and geophysical based investigation and data acquisition;
Complete pre-survey checks;
Undertake processing and audit checks on data collected;
Assist in the preparation of a range of information such as progress reports, technical summaries and output from various analysis;
Assist in the processing of other geophysical data as required;
What you will need
A relevant diploma grade qualification or experience would be useful however not essential
UK driving licence essential
Flexible, proactive and adaptable to meet unexpected demands with tight time constraints
Able to work under pressure
