Mechanical Quantity Surveyor


Salary: £45-£55k + package

My client is a large well known lead name Building Services contractor looking for an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor. The company is customer focused, located across the UK to ensure a personable, hands-on approach to each and every project they run. Dedicated and committed to ensure customer requirements are met down to the every single detail. 
This particular role would be based in and around the South Hampshire area. My client deals with high-profile projects nationally within the commercial, domestic and industrial sectors. They are now looking for Mechanical Quantity Surveyor around Hampshire area and offering a salary package of about £45-£55k. 
Potential candidate will lead the development of successful commercial and financial controls through personal endeavour and action. 
To manage the surveying activities you are assigned on a daily basis and, as such, be accountable to the M&E Manager for its performance. 
Provide weekly reports. 
Manage and pro-actively support all commercial and surveying activities to ensure they reflect the requirements of the business. 
Keep and maintain full documentation to ensure that good business practice is achieved and that the company's contractual and corporate responsibilities are discharged. 
Mechanical background/ knowledge 
Previous experience working as a Mechanical QS within contracting. 
An exceptional eye for detail. 
Ambition to succeed and progress. 
Passion for delivering results.
