Support Worker - Positive Pathways (Fixed Term)

We wish to appoint a motivated, dedicated and caring Support Worker who can maintain our outstanding high standards supporting learners within the Faculty of Foundation Studies.

Your role will be to support learners with specific learning difficulties, disabilities or emotional/behavioural difficulties to access the curriculum opportunities within the Faculty of Foundation Studies.

You may be required to support learners on a 1:1, 2:1 or general basis. You will be expected to work closely and communicate effectively with all members of the team to ensure the learners meet their full potential. A flexible approach will be required to fully support our learners in their activities at other college sites and in the community.

The role is for 15 hours per week for 40 weeks per year (fixed term). You will be provided with a personal timetable as early as possible in the academic year but adjustments may be needed throughout the year working to across the faculty teams.

It is essential that candidates have a good standard of education, including GCSE in Maths and English at grade C or above, or equivalent.
