We are growing and developing our Digital Trading and Content teams and are looking for a driven and motivated Digital Category Manager to join us at an exciting time of development and transformation at Argos. We are looking for an exceptional talent to join our Digital Category team where you will have responsibility for ensuring the successful day to day trading of selected online categories.



Leading a team of Digital Category Executives you will work to deliver successful commercial results through optimisation of the digital customer experience. You will work collaboratively with the Senior Digital Category Manager to understand the Digital Trading Strategy for the coming year. Creating category plans and translating the category strategies into a detailed 6-9 month plans. Also having the opportunity to lead digital projects that will grow the performance of your categories.



This role offers a huge amount of visibility across the business, building collaborative relationships with the Trading, Promotions and Digital Marketing teams. Regularly communicating insights and analysis of promotions and optimisation to inform and influence future commercial activity.

About you:

Proven category management experience working within a similar role
A clear understanding of how analytics and insight are used to inform category plans and continuous improvement.
An experienced people manager with the passion and drive to coach and develop others
An exceptional communicator with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders and effectively influencing external agencies
