An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Communications Manager to join an exceptionally people focused Housing Association. They are a value orientated organisation working together to create communities where people want to live. They manage around 6,400 homes in Preston. They're in need of a creative, resourceful individual who can get their message across.
They are looking for a Communications Manager to lead their successful and driven Communications Team. You will lead on the delivery of external and internal communications strategies to effectively promote the organisation and their charitable subsidiary. You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) and experience of communications, public relations and media management.

You will need to be an excellent communicator and fast thinker with plenty of initiative to manage their marketing and communications channels, and further expand their online and media presence to better serve their customers, colleagues and target audiences. Ideally, you will have a background in digital communications and proven experience of developing (or managing development of) high quality websites and significant social media presence to build a positive reputation.

You will provide advice and support to the Executive Management Team, Board Members and Heads of Services in the preparation and delivery of communications and promotional activities and presentations.
You will lead on the delivery of high quality communications products for internal and external communications stakeholders, including residents, and provide a copywriting service for every part of the business. You'll have a commitment to total accuracy and the tact to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
