A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a GTCS provisional or fully registered teacher of technical education to join a secondary school in the Scottish Borders. The role can commence as early as 3rd October, 2016 however the school will consider applications from teachers who require a later start date. The position is a full time, long term role that ends in June 2017. (With an opportunity to be considered for a second year).
Applicants should be able to offer expertise in several of the following technological subjects such as mechanical, electrical or electronic engineering/ sciences, mechatronics, architecture, construction technology, building services,design and graphics-related subjects such as computer-aided design, graphic design, computer-aided design manufacture, industrial design, product design.
The school is located in a small town nestled within an area of outstanding beauty and only 23 miles south of Edinburgh.
Wonderful students, fantastic staff and extremely supportive parents makes teaching at this school incredibly rewarding.
The successful applicant must:
have either a provisional or full GTCS registration.
be available full time until the end of June 2017 initially.
be able to teach technical studies to senior phase
