LOCATION: Shefford, Befordshire

JOB TITLE: Nurse Practitioner

SALARY & BENEFITS: Dependent on experience + excellent benefits

WORKING HOURS: 36 hours each week, 8am - 6pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

THE COMPANY: Our client is a Medical Practice serving the population of Shefford and the surrounding area. They are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their excellent Nursing Team consisting of 2 Nurse Practitioners, 4 Practice Nurses and 2 Health Care assistants.

THE ROLE: The role of the Nurse Practitioner you will be an experienced nurse, who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of their care. You will demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care for patients within the general practice.

Key Responsibilities for the Nurse Practitioner role to include:-

• Management of patient health and illness
• Maintain professional development and clinical excellence
• Complete records, audits, reports and respond to appropriate questions and requests.

THE CANDIDATE: For the role of Nurse Practitioner in Shefford you will be a qualified nurse with a current NMC registration (PIN). Minor illness and independent prescribing qualifications. You will be friendly, kind, honest, reassuring and an effective communicator and team player. You share the company's goal of delivering excellent care to the patients.

Key experience essential for the role of Nurse Practitioner:-

• Current NMC registration
• A qualified Minor Illness Nurse
• Have an Independent Prescribing Qualification
