The role
They now have a fantastic opportunity for an MI Analyst to join the business. Reporting to the Systems Accountant, this is a newly created role due to a recognition and appreciation for the requirement for relevant, insightful and impactful reporting which will better inform senior management of all business activity and further enhance positive business decisions.

You will work closely with the Systems Accountant and internal stakeholders to develop and analyse business intelligence needs, review and deliver senior management information requirements and improve existing MI processes. You will have the opportunity to develop and manage a reporting suite in line with department and business needs.

The successful candidate will be integrating into a well-established, sizeable and highly respected IT team. You will also have a platform to express your own ideas and drive this area of the department forward - a highly attractive proposition for an ambitious MI Analyst.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will have experience of Tableau (advanced knowledge preferred) plus advanced excel skills combined with the ability to interpret analytics and data sets.

Ideally if you have a financial background and experience of reporting KPI's within the manufacturing sector then these are highly advantageous, as are Microsoft SQL scripting and SSRS.

In terms of personal skills, you should be a confident self-starter, have the ability to work as part of a highly effective and respected team and gain credibility within the wider business.
