The SysOps Automation Engineer will work collaboratively to help this consulting firm build and deliver quality data-driven systems in a full DevOps-like way. They are looking for a person to "Automate all the Things" with strong programming skills but also with architecture and system administration background.

Role Responsibilities:
- Automate infrastructure launch and network security configuration mainly on cloud based environments.
- Automate the configuration management process.
- Collaborate to build and improve continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment processes.
- Automate release management for different technologies.
- Manage the baseline configuration and changes through appropriate change control mechanisms.

Essential Skills:

- 3+ years experience in a SysOps role.
- Experience of building complex infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible.
- Background in UNIX/Linux administration.
- Experience of "infrastructure as code".
- Experience with build and configuration management tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Enthusiastic attitude to investigate and resolve problems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Go language.
- Knowledge of scripting languages.
- Previous experience of AWS.
- Previous experience of Azure cloud provider would also be considered positively.
- Ability to understand and use new technology quickly.
- Apply best practice in the planning and organising of own activities.
