Care Assistant

We have a new exciting opportunity, not to be missed! At CCMS we are currently looking for a Care Assistant to join our team based in Dewsbury. The successful candidate will join us on a part time basis working primarily weekends and will receive an hourly rate of £9 per hour for weekday shifts and £10 per hour for weekend shifts.

We offer a bespoke Case Management Service for people of all ages, with a particular emphasis on those recovering from acquired brain injuries.  We have a reputation for taking on the more complex cases, and constantly strive to provide the most efficient and effective service possible. We are looking for a Care Assistant to become part of our growing, professional team, on a full-time basis.

Ultimately our aim is to empower and support people to reach their full potential and maximize their rehabilitation opportunities in order to promote the best quality of life.

About the Role

Care assistant required for a 12-year-old boy living with his family in the Dewsbury area.  He has physical, sensory & cognitive disabilities & is wheelchair dependent following a serious accident. 

What we’re looking for in our Care Assistant

Applicants require empathetic & dynamic approach and the ability to promote and encourage therapies & engage in home & community activities is essential.   Flexible support is required for predominantly weekend hours plus some after school shifts to cover annual leave. Extra shifts will be required during School holidays.

Personal care required, driver essential.
