Principle Data Analyst - Banking
My client, a leading bank based within the Midlands, are looking for a Principle Data Analyst to join their Analytics Division. The purpose of the team is to provide customer data-led analysis and insight to support strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Creation of Management Information (MI) dashboards to help manage the risk in its customer base
- Validation of new data sources for Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) analytics,
- Supporting deployment and tracking of FCC initiatives eg event-based triggers for Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews, customer onboarding, identification of customer populations for remediation
Essential Experience and Knowledge
- Must have expert knowledge of SAS and SQL
- 3-4 years + experience working within analytics and large data sets
- Experienced in leading full life cycle projects of Customer Insight Analysis
- Excellent at presenting findings to senior stakeholders
- Experience working in Data Analytics role within financial services preferred
