Our client is a long established UK manufacturer and distributor of solid fuel products selling to domestic, wholesale and retail customers. Currently operating from 30 sites in the UK and employing over 500 employees, they are a major manufacturer and distributor of solid fuel.  They offer a range of well known product brands and a commitment to new product development including ‘e-coal’ and renewable energy fuels.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a professional Driver to join their Widford Depot, 40 hours per week on a permanent basis, delivering a high quality delivery service for fuel related products (coal) to retail and commercial customers.

With a full clean UK driving licence with a minimum of Class C categorisation, knowledge of a Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC, you should have experience of delivering goods to commercial and residential premises. An enthusiastic and hardworking attitude and with experience in a similar role working to delivery lead times, you will have good knowledge of local traffic and road systems and be able to work in accordance with transport legislation and health and safety procedures.

Able to undertake this physically demanding role, which includes manual handling of up to 8 tonnes of product per day, along with multi-drop deliveries, the successful candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have a professional and personable approach to both retail and commercial customers.
