Arriva Transport Solutions Ltd (ATSL) are recruiting for a Patient Advisor to join the team based at our control centre in Bristol. Working 37.5 hours per week on a full time, permanent basis, the successful Patient Advisor will receive a competitive salary of £18,000 per annum.
Arriva Transport Solutions Ltd (ATSL) is a specialist transport business within the Arriva group offering high quality non-emergency patient transport across the health sector.
The Patient Advisor will work as part of the Quality and Standards Team and will be the first point of contact for patients who have concerns, complaints, or compliments about our service; and will work with managers and staff to provide resolutions to patient concerns. The post holder will also be responsible for ensuring all contact with patients are logged and assist in analysis to support learning from feedback in order to improve service quality.
Previous experience of working within a customer service or complaint handling role is essential, as well as being able to show excellent communication skills both verbal and written. The successful Patient Advisor must also be able to demonstrate an ability to manage sensitive and sometimes challenging issues in an appropriate manner.
We are looking for a professional individual who can take personal responsibility for their workload as well as working well within a team. You will need to have the ability to adapt to and accommodate change, be able to work in a very busy environment where there are changing priorities, have excellent negotiation skills and be dedicated to improving and promoting confidence in our service. Previous experience in the NHS is desirable. Occasional travel to other parts of the business may be required.
