Our client administers the Civil Service Pension Scheme and provide pensions to over 1.5 million people.  With a strong heritage as the provider of a broad portfolio of administration services, their deep public and private sector knowledge and experience means they are a unique provider in the field. 

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Test Lead to join the Software Testing team at their office in Liverpool.  The team is responsible for the testing of all project and BAU software deliveries within the organisation following agreed processes and standards. 

Reporting in to a Test Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day line management of a team of Test Analysts, the management of test planning and execution activities, reporting test progress and issues to the Test Manager, liaising with suppliers and key stakeholders and contributing to the overall continuous improvement of the testing function. 

In order to be successful in this position, it is essential that you have previous experience in a Lead Analyst or management role within a technical or project environment.  With the ability to identify and manage risk, issues and actions, you should have an understanding of how to produce test scripts and test deliverables.

Although not essential, a management, Project Management, business analysis or testing qualification would be advantageous.
