Position: Demand Planner
Location: London
Salary: £32000 - £35000 per annum Plus benefits
Job Type: Full Time
The company client is a reputable luxury cosmetics and skincare business internationally expanded who are actively seeking to appoint a talented and fast paced Demand Planner to join their vibrant team office based in London. The successful candidate will be working collaboratively with the Supply Chain Planners for all demand planning processes and produce a demand forecast for all products within the business, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time.
Main duties for this role will cover:
* Create demand forecast across all business channels and markets for existing and new products
* Ensuring demand is in line with sales budget in a reliable and timely manner
* Ensure all stock requirements are met in line with promotions
* Hold monthly demand meetings to discuss, challenge and consolidate where possible
* Collaborate with the Supply Planners to discuss forecasts and issues relating to stock availability
* Prepare on a monthly basis the medium-long-term sales forecast vs demand forecast and supply plan
* Collaborate with the new product development team to forecast and measure performance post launch vs. forecast
* Calculate the production requirements across a 12-18 month period
* Work collaboratively work with Finance, NPD and the commercial teams
* Analyse global stock levels
* Support international markets for maximising new business
Background and competencies required:
* Health & beauty industry experience
* 3+ years relevant experience
* Consumer focus
* Sage 50 experience desired (not essential)
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally
* KPI driven and results focussed
* Problem solver
* Ability to manage and deliver to deadlines
* Highly numerate and analytical
* Commercial acumen to understand financial impact
* Flexible, adaptable and organised
* Highly computer literate - advanced excel
* Demonstrable affinity with the brand
