Fantastic opportunity to be a lead creative force in the development of advertising, promotion and brand for this leading global beauty brand. Supporting the Head of Creative and the rest of the studio you will be a hands on creative lead. You will thrive in a hands on conceptual lead role working with the head of Creative and other snrs as well as copywriters, retouchers and mentoring and overseeing an intern, this could be an opportunity for a senior designer with conceptual skills to take a more managerial lead in the career and also focus on working on conceptual campaigns and delivery of creative solutions.

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Key hands on creative, capable of taking a creative brief and inputting innovative ideas, working closely with relevant parties in formulating concepts and design materials, and embedding yourself as an integral player in the Creative Studio
  • Partnering with other creative counterparts including copy and packaging to ensure a 360 degree approach to creative. To encourage and promote shared learning in the creative team.
  • Design in-store promotions, POS, ads, leaflets etc for global markets, preparing to present work at internal creative reviews
  • To be an expert advisor in your field, contributing to the achievement of the creative strategy and translating the overall creative direction into design as directed.
  • Support the development of strong innovative creative concepts, ensuring brand consistency through visual and copy guidelines.
  • To effectively support the team, providing design directions for projects, with a firm awareness of the brief, providing design materials as necessary
  • Maintain up-to-date and broad knowledge of developments and trends in design and current activity within the cosmetics and toiletries sector
  • In conjunction with the Head of Creative, develop and maintain good working relationships with the Category teams to ensure that verbal and written briefs are translated into creative communications, designs and other creative materials that are in line with brand and creative strategy / direction
  • To mentor and line manage the Creative Studio Intern, responsible for their development and career progression
