A small but fast growing pharmaceutical & sports supplement distribution company are looking for a professional person with a responsible attitude to operate the production facilities. There is the requirement to work closely with the management team with strategic projects giving scope for progression and variety within the job.

Requirements of Candidate:

They are looking for a self-motivated, organised team player with an eye for detail. The candidate must be literate, numerate and computer savvy. You are required to have GCSE's of C or above in Maths, English & Science. They require a person who is fit and healthy and likes to keep busy as well as being reliable and hard working.

Experience

Essential

- Working within a manufacturing environment
- Operating machinery in a work environment
- Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based data recording systems
- Working without supervision and using own initiative
- Working to standard operating procedures

Desirable

- Manufacturing within the pharmaceutical and supplement industry
- Experience of working with pharmaceutical/supplement machinery
- Experience of maintaining machinery
- Experience of goods manufacturing practices within the pharmaceutical industry.

Main Duties:

Dispensing - you will need to dispense and weigh a number of different materials from bulk bags and drums to small quantities required according to a picking list.

Mixing, Granulating, and Blending - you will need to mix, granulate and blend materials to a specific recipe. This will involve using pre-dispensed materials along with additional materials according to a picking list.

Compression and Encapsulation - you will be tasked with the running of compression and encapsulation machinery. Other duties will include a series of in production tests to ensure the product meets the specification.

Packaging - using automatic counting machinery to dispense capsules to the required quantity, applying labels to packaging and sealing of items.

Quality Control - you will be responsible for ensuring quality control procedures are adhered to at all times.

Cleaning/Maintenance - you will be required to clean, maintain and set up your area and equipment to a high standard.
