An exciting opportunity is available working on the European Social Fund Project (ESF).
The ESF Project will help enhance equal access to lifelong learning for all age groups in formal, non-formal and informal settings, upgrading knowledge, skills and competencies of the workforce, and promote flexible learning pathways including career guidance and validation of acquired competencies. The aim of activities is to support sustainable employment and promote in-work progression of people in the workforce who require up-skilling in basic skills or qualifications for business growth and innovation in the local economy.
To support the successful delivery of this project we are currently looking to recruit a number of Assessors/Reviewers/Facilitators. These roles are dependent upon securing successful funding from the ESF. The posts will be offered on a fixed term basis for 18 months and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
In the role you will be providing excellent facilitation of teaching, learning and outstanding assessment practices for learners, carrying out employer liaison, recruitment, induction, monitoring reviews, supervision and progress tracking of learners on accredited programmes at any of the College sites or within the workplace; developing new opportunities and grow the volume of learners to deliver the ESF Project; and assist where necessary with the maintenance and development of workshop/ centre/ facilities/ delivery resources.
Qualified in Level 3 / 4 qualification in relevant vocational subjects (Ports and Logistics, Health & Social Care, Renewables Technologies / Green Energy, Engineering and Manufacturing, Food, Chemicals, Creative and Digital, Human Resources), GCSE A-C English and maths qualifications or equivalent, Level 2 ICT, Assessor qualification, PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification and internal verification qualification. You will have specialist knowledge in the delivery and assessment of NVQs / QCF qualifications and functional skills; particularly knowledge and understanding of the ILR for SFA/EFA/ESF. You will be competent in the use of IT, be flexible and adaptable and have excellent organisational and administrative skills.
