Salary: £15,000

The company was set up in 1959; they've been designing and making footwear now for 50 years! They diversified from their roots - slipper production - in the early 1990s, when they had their 'eureka moment' - identifying a niche in the market for stylish shoes with comfort built in.

Since then product innovation, world class production facilities, and continual reinvestment in their business has seen their shoe collections expand beyond all recognition and their circle of friends grow by hundreds of thousands each year.

The company's now looking for a Marketing Assistant to assist with administration duties across online and offline marketing campaigns to support productivity and communication across the team

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the Online and Offline Marketing Communications Teams

  • Assist in proof reading and checking links for all marketing communications
  • Text versioning sign offs, checking of offer and stationery codes
  • Liaise with fulfilment house on mailing pack fulfilment and manage SEPs
  • Support Print and Production Manager with invoicing documentation and administration
  • Online invoice administration
  • To review competitor communications and activities
  • Update marketing files online and offline
  • Support internal communication of marketing activities
  • Mystery shopping
  • General administration duties

Supporting the Data Team:

  • Carry out checks on mailing data & mail packs prior to release of mailing
  • Create & update seed monitoring spreadsheet which gives insight into touchdown of individual mailings
  • Support data team with promotion code setup for mailing, online & advertising activity

The Candidate:

You should have excellent communication and organisation skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Marketing related degree or qualification essential
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Some marketing experience preferred
