Joining us on a full time permanent basis, you will receive a competitive salary of £29,157 – £38,042 per annum depending on appointment level and placement on scale according to qualifications and experience.

Our Centre for International Education is growing, and we are looking for a Quantitative Researcher / Research Manager (International) to join its team and to contribute to projects at the forefront of international education research. If you have a keen interest in developing additional professional knowledge and quantitative skills, and in contributing to the development of new and innovative approaches to research and analysis we would like to hear from you.
The Quantitative Researcher / Research Manager (International) will contribute to the design, delivery and reporting of quantitative research that uses international data to address important education issues.
At Research Manager level there would be additional responsibility for building strong client relationships, working with a network of strategic partners with an interest in international education, and for leading quantitative research proposals and projects. There may also be line management responsibilities.
We are interested in applications from enthusiastic individuals who have relevant knowledge and skills in education research, particularly in working with large and complex surveys. With a first degree, or equivalent, in a relevant subject and an understanding of the important issues in education policy and practice in the UK and globally, Quantitative Researcher / Research Manager (International) candidates must also be:
- Highly numerate, with experience of manipulating and analysing data using programming languages
- Highly organised, and able to work with a considerable degree of autonomy and to consistently meet deadlines
- Able to work effectively in a team context
- An effective communicator both verbally and written
- Creative and innovative
At Research Manager level we will also expect candidates to have project management experience and the ability to establish effective external relationships.
