Sales / Business Development Manager
Opportunity for B2B sales professional in Cleanroom garments / Consumables / Workwear / Mopping / Medical Devices
The Sales / Business Development Manager will be responsible for growing sales with existing and new clients for their Workwear, Consumable, Cleaning and Medical device contracts (including sectors such as Pharmaceutical, NHS, Industrial, Semi-Conductor Markets etc.) with main responsibilities including:
- prospecting for potential new clients within the cleanroom market sector
- meeting potential clients / maintaining your network / meeting client decision makers
- planning pitches addressing the client's needs, concerns, and objectives
- pricing and promoting the solution / service
- working with technical staff / internal colleagues
- attending industry functions / conferences
- providing feedback on market / creative / customer trends
- identify innovation opportunities within the Cleanroom market place.
Our client is one of the most forward-thinking and innovative textile leasing, workwear, PPE, consumables and medical devices companies in the UK. They have over 300 employees, 3 processing sites and dedicated regional delivery hubs throughout the country. With their UK HQ in Lincolnshire, they supply a diverse range of customers across the pharmaceutical, NHS, and semi-conductor market sectors.
This position is home based in the south of the UK, preferably in, around or north of the M4 corridor.
The ideal Sales Manager / Business Development Manager will have previous B2B sales / service / solutions experience and be adept at networking, prospecting and sales territory management. CRM and Microsoft Office skills are required with strong verbal, written and presentational communication skills.
There is an initial three month training programme, for which overnight stays will be required.
