Customer Service Advisor

Location: Redditch 

Salary: £8.62 /hour

Hours - Tuesday-Saturday - 9am -6pm

Part of the Customer Service Team, you will proactively build and develop relationships with existing and future clients.

Principle Accountabilities & Objectives

  • To proactively build and develop customer relationships
  • To act as key contact for the clients and provide a one-to-one service
  • To provide help and advice to clients, using our services, over the telephone, by email or face-to-face
  • To produce written information for clients
  • To manage the existing client relationship at operational level
  • To investigate and solve clients’ problems and queries
  • To handle client complaints or any crises
  • To drive client’s claims for refund to a prompt and satisfactory conclusion
  • To identify and maximise business opportunities with existing clients
  • To develop feedback procedures for clients to use
  • To update claims procedures for clients to use
  • To attend internal meetings to discuss improvements to internal processes to increase efficiency and to enhance our service levels
  • To monitor departmental performance in conjunction with General Manager – Operations Support
  • To propose and initiate remedial action to counter variances.
  • To evaluate services being provided internally and externally.

Person Specification

  • Experience of dealing with customers over the telephone essential
  • Well organised and thorough in approach
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, experience working with a CMS preferred
  • Flexible approach to working
  • Good levels of numeracy and literacy
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
