Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)

Our client currently has an exciting opportunity for a Learner Placement Manager to join them Norwich and Lowestoft Centres.


This rewarding role provides the essential link between learners on the training programmes and local employers.  The opportunity seeks to tailor individual support and guidance to learners and to secure relevant and timely employability skills development through work placements. We recognise and specialises in supporting young people who may be disillusioned and disengaged from education and training; providing employability support on their programmes is critical to the learners’ programme and journey.


Working closely with Tutors and Learning Mentors you will provide ongoing pastoral care, information, advice and guidance as well as employability and learning support, working with learners to overcome barriers, helping them to identify, apply and secure work placements.  You will assess how the learner is progressing in the workplace with the employers’ involvement, reporting back to the team.


With previous experience gained working with 16 -18 year olds you’ll also be a strong communicator with a positive attitude able to motivate and engage young people. You will possess the IAG level 3 qualification, along with IOSH or a level 2 health and safety qualification to be able to verify the suitability of the working environment before learners begin their work placements. You’ll be a team player, highly organised with the ability to engage well with an existing bank of employers and new ones. You will need access to your own vehicle.
