The Wrights family have been known for producing quality wholesome food since 1926. They have grown their business to an annual turnover today in excess of £47 million, through three separate divisions -Savoury, Desserts and Ready Meals.

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Director to add value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing our Sales, Marketing and Customer Services teams. The successful applicant will keep abreast of trends and market conditions and provide strategic advice to the teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement commercial strategies, in line with company goals and objectives, which are aimed to accelerate growth.
• Conduct market research and analysis in order to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
• Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure that their needs are being met.
• Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
• Collaborate with and coordinate our Sales, Marketing and Customer Services teams.

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales or commercial roles at higher level.
• Proven experience in sales, marketing and managing relationships with key clients.
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
