Department/Location: North Cambridge • £15,258 - £16,017 pro rata • Reference: AQ09617

Working in North Cambridge, you will be required to provide a high level of cleaning in all areas of the field station including offices, laboratories, indoor animal accommodation, communal areas and toilets.

You will be required to work 18.25 hours per week, spread over 5 days per week (typically Monday to Friday).

There is a degree of flexibility with the exact starting and finishing times for this position which can be agreed with the successful applicant before they start in the role.

No formal qualifications are required although an NVQ 1 Cleaning Methods qualification would be advantageous, as would experience of laboratory cleaning.

Good communication skills are essential along with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors.

A willingness to be flexible in approach and reliability are essential.

Once an offer of employment has been accepted, the successful candidate will be required to undergo a health assessment and a security check.
