DevOps Engineer - Cloud, Gradle, Docker, Rancher - Oxford

DevOps Engineer required by my client a global energy organisation based in Oxford this is a permanent position with a negotiable salary depending on experience.

My client are looking for a qualified cloud technician to strengthen the web application development team. This work requires the successful applicant to define, assembling and securing the deployment environment for cloud based services. The individual will need to demonstrate recent experience with putting in place tooling and procedures to allow automated delivery of components and services to the public cloud. This includes the hardening of services to ensure access to services and associated data storage is controlled, as well as ensuring the wider range of security considerations are identified, documented and managed. This will require an individual with proven experience of auditing and reporting on the hardening of the deployed solutions.

Job Requirements:

*Expertise in Cloud Security, Hardening & Administration
*Ownership of Build, Packaging and deployment. Experience of Gradle, Docker, Rancher and Kubernetes required.
*Setting up and managing the Continuous Deployment Pipeline environment. Tooling experience with GoCD a plus
*Reviewing and evolving service logging and monitoring
*Ability to work in a team environment that is fast-paced and follows Agile development practices
*Ability to work to commercial deadlines
*Good communication skills
