Our client is looking to fill a number of Account Director and Channel Manager permanent full time positions Selling White Goods in both the Mass Merchants and Electrical Retail Channel:

Our client is one of the most trusted kitchen brands in the UK and has ambitious plans for the future. The Company is further developing its brand awareness and supporting continued growth that is being targeting within their Strategic Accounts Channel. They therefore have a number of permanent vacancies for Account Directors and Channel Managers.

The successful candidates will be primarily selling and supporting Sales activity with their National retailers at head office level with Senior Buyers and Product teams. Candidates must be an outstanding relationship builder, with the ability to sell their full range of products from entry level to more premium offerings. They need tenacious individuals who are seeking an opportunity to develop themselves within a challenging environment.

Requirements:

  • Strong track record in sales
  • Industry knowledge
  • Experience of handling some of the following retailers in a National Account role is preferred; Argos, AO.com, Dixons Carphone, Shop Direct, Buy-it Direct, Supermarkets, Coop, Department Stores and Mail Order retailers.
  • Successfully increased volume/product listings by negotiation
  • Positive attitude and determined to succeed
  • Excellent people and relationship building skills are essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Track record of managing and developing a large product range with various customer requirements
  • Good awareness of financial reporting and the tools to do so
  • High competence in Microsoft Office and spread sheets
  • The candidate is expected to;

  • Plan and implement the key account strategy to achieve Sales objectives agreed by the Head of Sales & Marketing Built-in.
  • Develop customer strategy and relationships.
  • Plan promotional events with supporting logistics.
  • Negotiate pricing and product placement.
  • Deliver against an aggressive growth budget.
  • Account forecasting.
  • Ability to develop and identify new opportunities.
  • Manage budgets
  • In addition to a competitive basic salary depending on experience, a 40% Bonus potential is linked to Sales Budget and related Performance levels, you will also be entitled to a package including 25 days annual holiday and Company Car, Smart Phone, laptop.
