Position: Catastrophe Risk Analyst
Location: City of London
Salary: £30000 - £40000 per annum + bonus
Job Type: Full time
The company client is one of the fastest growing insurance organisation in the market who are currently seeking to appoint a highly skilled and articulate Catastrophe Risk Analyst to their exciting team office based in the City.The successful applicant will be responsible for analysing catastrophe losses for all risks in all modelled territories. This is a unique opportunity to join a widely respected brand in a period of fast paced change.
Top responsibilities for this position will involve:
* Assisting underwriters in the use of any of the catastrophe modelling and associated software.
* Enhance and develop the day-to-day processes to improve efficiencies.
* Becoming an expert in the running of the Catastrophe modelling software used by the team and in the associated software.
* Prepare output reports and provide analysis to the underwriters to aid in quoting.
Essential background and expertise:
* A high degree of numeracy
* Strong excel skills and looking to develop within a small team
* The organisation would be especially interested in speaking to candidates with 1-2 years' Catastrophe Modelling experience.
