Finance Manager

This is a full time position of 40 hrs per week (5 days out of 7).

This organisation is a Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) regulated market leader in in the UK and Australia and is used by over 900 customers. The organisation integrates Club Management Software, Direct Debit Collection Services, Marketing, Referral Management and Retention Services, in a single, cloud-based solution, delivering tangible benefits to the Fitness and Leisure Industry.

This role reports to the Managing Director (MD) and operates as part of the Management team.

The Candidate:

- You are an experienced finance manager with at least two years experience in managing a team.
- You can provide accurate monthly management accounts, and forecasting providing commentary and appropriate advice. You are proven in the management of the finance function including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, VAT and bank account reconciliation.
- You ideally have experience in direct debit collection and the disbursement of client funds. Upon training should able to communicate to customers when required on utilising reports from our application to assist in their accounting function.
- You understand the important of process and procedures and continual improvement. You also understand the importance of best practise and compliance and ideally have experience with a business regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
- As an experienced finance manager you are looking for a role which you can grow into providing leadership in the success of the business.
- You have a degree in business, accounting or finance and ideally have an accountancy qualification.

Experience in the health and fitness industry is also desirable.
