Position: IT Procurement Manager
Location: West Sussex
Salary: £60000 - £65000 per annum + Pension + Car Allowance + Health + 30 Days Holiday

The client is a widely known Financial Services organisation who are currently looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and fast paced IT Procurement Manager to join their vibrant team office based in West Sussex. The successful candidate will create, implement and drive the procurement strategy and act as a subject matter expert to the business providing specialist knowledge and support. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team whilst offering both career development and business interaction.
The successful candidate will undertake the following duties:
* Constantly find new ways to upgrade and improve the performance of the existing and potential supply base, seeking ways to drive innovation in processes, reduce costs, reduce risks, improve performance and stimulate competition between qualified suppliers.
* Influence and work with customers, colleagues and stakeholders to promote and implement the high quality standards of commercial management across the business.
* Maintain expert market knowledge and awareness of developments in purchasing techniques.
* Manage an accurate and live procurement pipeline of information to enable good decision-making.
* Develop relationships with key business stakeholders and suppliers to facilitate dialogue regarding contractual performance.
* Oversee and undertake the evaluation and continued management of suppliers.
* Implement and promote rigorous governance throughout supplier relationships.
* Identify and documents key relationships and sets structure and schedules for operational supplier review meetings.

* A strong understanding of Procurement and Vendor management
* Excellent negotiation skills
* Management experience
* Excellent communication and influencing to develop strong relationships internally and externally

* Highly organised and motivated
