Security Officer

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join Kingdom Security; one of the UK’s fastest growing security / cleaning companies

We are currently seeking an experienced Retail Security Officer to join a team at large store of major retail company based in Grays, Lakeside.

An ideal Security Officer will have the following competencies:

• Retail security experience - Knowledge of ASCONE and PACE and effective reporting and recording
• SIA licence
• IT Literacy to an intermediate level – successful candidate will need to maintain effective records on a client database in real time as well as managing bespoke asset management software to track the issue, status and return of client equipment and keys
• Effective verbal communication - successful candidate will be using the phone, making tannoy announcements and interacting face to face in a time critical environment with members of the public and colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to work a variety of different duties with hours throughout the working day
• Shift pattern to reflect weekend working on a rostered basis – will include Bank and public Holiday working
• Team Ethic – the successful candidate will to work as a member of a team embracing both in house and Kingdom team members
• Physically fit
• CCTV licence preferred but not essential
