LEISURE TEAM LEADER
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for Village the Hotel Club in Cardiff.
Your role is to assist the Leisure Operations Manager / LCM in delivering the highest possible operational standards whilst supporting the development of the Leisure Club Team. Deliver a high standard of service and customer satisfaction in line with company procedures and unit profitability targets.
You achieve this by being a key link in the chain that joins up great staff with memorable customer service. You will have a passion for helping others perform to their maximum potential.
We are looking for an experienced shift leader with good knowledge of the industry and a passion for health and fitness! The role is full time and requires the flexibility to work early and late shifts.
Person Spec
-Experience within the leisure environment and holds a Leisure qualification Minimum of Level 3 RVQ/NVQ or equivalent
-Minimum of 2 years experience in the fitness industry with the potential to become an LCM.
-Experience of training others.
-Personality - customer facing presence, rapport builder. Calm and assured under pressure.
-Passion for the Health & Fitness business. Can communicate clearly and persuasively.
-Leadership capability - Leads from the front and delegates effectively. Also a team player.
-Coach and hands on trainer
-Well organised and structured in approach.
-Ability and flexibility to teach group fitness classes.
-Confidence to demand high standards from others, challenge upwards for appropriate resources, to make your leisure club the best.
-Understands the need for confidentiality.
-Basic IT skills
