Explainer - Weekends

If you're a confident communicator, enjoy working with people and have plenty of enthusiasm about making science interesting you could be an Explainer at this Museum.

As an Explainer you will motivate and inspire their visitors through the delivery of high quality life-enhancing learning experiences that are inspiring, engaging and memorable to a wide-ranging audience.

With your understanding of how people learn and your passion for science, technology, engineering and maths you will bring the museum's story to life through presenting engaging shows. You will also facilitate a varied programme of activities, including working machinery demonstrations, workshops, tours, science shows, and story-telling.

You'll have previous experience of giving lively informal or formal presentations to a broad range of audiences and a passion for customer service. You will be an excellent communicator and love working as part of a large and dynamic team.
