Our client is an innovative and exciting digital agency that offers a wide range of bespoke design, development and content management solutions to their customers. They are now looking for a PHP Developer to join them in their pursuit of digital brilliance.
Working within a small, but perfectly formed Development Team, you’ll become a vital component in the success of customer projects and will have the chance to make a real contribution to the future growth of the business.
As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for working on a variety of bespoke development projects for customers, ranging from small scale websites to larger assignments for household names.
Capturing requirements for new projects, you’ll use your brilliant PHP skills to design new modules and update existing modules for customers.
You’ll collaborate with colleagues to identify and recommend better ways of designing and implementing our client’s software and ensure that all projects meet customer specifications.
Additionally, you’ll provide technical training to end users and keep clear and accurate documentation of all development tasks.
Interested? To be considered, you must have experience of the following, gained within your studies, a commercial environment or similar:
- Object Oriented PHP
- HTML
- CSS
- JavaScript
- PostgreSQL and/or MySQL
As a PHP Developer, you must be articulate and imaginative with a great eye for detail and strong communication skills. The ability to meet deadlines and handle a number of projects simultaneously is also essential.
Ideally, you’ll have experience of the following: XML, ASP.NET, the Zend Framework and a template engine such as Smarty.
