Busy Bees in Burchetts Green (Hall Place) enjoys a very fortunate position in the Berkshire countryside. We are set in the fantastic grounds of The Berkshire College of Agriculture, close to the M4, M40, A404, M25 and commutable from areas such as Maidenhead, Slough, Reading, Windsor, Ascot, Stokenchurch and High Wycombe.
We are a purpose built nursery surrounded by 180 acres of green fields and landscaped gardens. Because we're on the grounds of the agriculture college we have some truly unique experiences for both children and those working with them to enjoy: There's a small animal zoo next door, lambing in the spring and a forest ideal for bear hunts and horse trials.
We have 5 large rooms each with ample natural light and direct access to individual gardens. With so much space we are lucky also have a large garden, big enough for exploring, bug finding, digging or just being together in our ‘willow igloo’. The children have many opportunities to walk a short distance to our forest adventure area where they can build dens, wander through wild flowers and discover the joys of nature.

No two days are the same, working in childcare offers a fun and varied working day. Ultimately, you'll have responsibility for all children placed in your care to safeguard and promote the child’s welfare. You'll need to have great team-working skills and good communication skills are imperative; this involves listening, questioning, and understanding and responding to what is being communicated by children, young people and those caring for them.
