Based Southampton, covering Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth & Dorchester

Salary £40,000 per annum

Our client is the UK’s largest supplier of personal protection equipment, janitorial, cleaning and hygiene products. They are a FTSE 100 company which successfully operates in 26 countries throughout the world and are always on the lookout for exceptional sales talent to join their already successful teams across the UK.

With this in mind, they are now looking to appoint a proactive, dynamic and self-motivated Sales Manager to manage a set of existing key accounts and prospect for new key accounts within a designated geographical territory.

Monitoring sales performance and producing monthly reports, you will call on customers on a regular basis, providing quotes and ensuring that enquiries are followed up in a timely manner. Working with suppliers and own brand offering, you will constantly seek new opportunities and strive to increase margin.

They are looking for a conscientious, organised and well-presented individual with a proven track record in sales. With strong communication and presentation skills, you will have the confidence and composure to initiate new business, the capacity to position our products with them and regenerate cold accounts.

Experience of selling in the construction industry is preferred but not essential as full product training will be provided. A full UK driving licence is essential.
