21 hours per week, Term Time only (38 weeks)

Actual Salary £8,500.58 to £9,009.71 per annum

Do you have the knowledge of strategies for establishing and developing mentoring support for learners?

Our client is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to join their Business IT and Technologies Team. You will be required to work closely with the teacher using prior knowledge of specific learning aids to aid all learners to achieve their targets. You will also be required to support learners outside the classroom in the wider curriculum including PSHE, employability and external visits.

Liaising with specialist services on behalf of individual pupils e.g. educational psychologists, speech therapists by agreement with the SENCO will also be a responsibility of the successful candidate

You will need to have a Functional Skills English and Maths qualification gained within the last 5 years (or ability to achieve). A Learning Support/ Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential for this role
