Are you an experienced Teacher looking to work in an Outstanding SEN School? Do you have a real passion for working with SEN students and a strong SEN background in either an SEN or mainstream setting? If so then please keep reading for an exciting opportunity in the Thurrock area:

We are looking for an experienced Primary Teacher, ideally with experience working in an SEN School, although candidates with a strong SEN background in mainstream schools will also be considered. You are likely to mainly be working with primary students although there is the possibility you may be asked to work with any students between the ages of 3 to 19.

The successful candidate will be required to work with a range of SEN difficulties, many of which are severe and many of the students are non verbal. You will responsible for a small class (approximately 7 students), of students of similar ability (mixed ages).

This is a full time maternity cover role to start on November 14th and likely to last for the rest of the academic year.

Our clients are a Special School providing for students aged 3-19, who have severe and profound learning difficulties. Many pupils have significant medical conditions, some of which are life limiting. The school has specialist status for sensory and physical needs and has achieved many rewards for its outstanding work.

This is a great opportunity to join an Outstanding School where everybody is proud to work and a chance to hone in on your existing SEN skills and to develop new ones.

Having visited the school, they are extremely proud of the provision they offer and of their Outstanding status and they are looking for teachers with the ambition to keep them there.

Please send your CV to Greg Burns. Greg is our dedicated SEN Consultant and will be happy to guide you through each step of the process from your application and throughout your time at the school.
