C# ASP.NET/MVC Developer - New Product Development also using HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, Test Driven Development, Agile environment

Stoke, Staffordshire - easily commutable within 45 minutes from places like Crewe, Altrincham, Macclesfield, Stafford, Burton upon Trent, Derby, Cannock, Wolverhampton, Telford.

I'm searching for a Web focused Developer to join a 10-person development team within a company who are delivering an increased range of products. You'll primarily be developing n-tier web applications which are consumed across desktop, mobile and tablet so there's plenty of variety, opportunity to learn new skills and a structured career growth plan, too. This firm value IT so invest significantly in technology.

You will be joining a team which has an informal culture and where Developers are trusted to go away and deliver. At the same time there's plenty of support - this company appreciate not everyone is a coding genius, or even if you are you will be guided how to develop taking into account business needs. You can develop (literally!) at your own pace whilst never having to twiddle your thumbs.

As well as the technical skills - C#, ASP.NET MVC (we will also consider WebForms and train you in MVC), JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML, CSS, T-SQL) we need Developers who have a pragmatic approach to development, ie you deliver simple, elegant code. You will have a strong grounding in Object Oriented principles.
