Foot Anstey have an exciting opportunity available for a Paralegal to join the Commercial Property team based in Bristol, Plymouth or Truro. Working on a full time, permanent basis, you will receive a highly competitive salary & benefits package. Job Purpose This role makes an important contribution to the overall work of the Real Estate team to assist team members cross-office in both individual transactions and as part of wider real estate project teams. Paralegals will immediately enter the 'Foot Anstey Career Framework' to help you build and develop your future skill set, knowledge and experience. The framework has been designed to allow qualified and non-qualified team members to navigate promotion processes, attain rewards and achieve ongoing personal development to help those with aspirations of becoming an associate, senior associate, legal director and partner. Key responsibilities as our Paralegal - Commercial Property will include: - To assist with title due diligence and reporting, including the submissions, collation and review of searches and enquiries - To manage project documentation and collate title packs, assisting with the formulation and engrossment of contractual documentation - To work with the Partners within the wider Real Estate team to further develop the offering and client base as required - To manage, with supervision, the negotiation of commercial leases and aspects of development transactions. - To deal with post completion registration and stamp duty land tax formalities - To interact with clients as necessary - To support others in the team with any specific business development and marketing activities to develop client work and fee income as part of supporting the business and strategic plans - To ensure appropriate a quality service and compliance for all matters - To consistently meet all KPI and targets and any other broader objectives as agreed on a quarterly and annual basis as part of the Team plans - To be a role model for the Foot Anstey Values and encourage the others to do the same What makes you the perfect Paralegal - Commercial Property? - Proven technical knowledge and track record of a broad range of Commercial Property matters. - Experience of some business development and marketing activities and increasing the client base. - Excellent all round communication skills including the capability to develop and maintain strong client relationships - Ability to collaborate and work effectively with other colleagues - Commitment to ongoing professional and personal development - An understanding of the importance of knowledge management and sharing - Previous experience of working with a CRM system would be an advantage Why Foot Anstey Foot Anstey is a leading regional law firm.
