To keep SP Ramp and other SP service agency's with safe and reliable equipment that meets all local and governing laws. %26nbsp;%26nbsp;%3C/P%3E%3CBR%3E%3CB%3EJob Responsibilities%3C/B%3E%3CBR%3E%0A%3CUL%3E%0A%3CLI%3EOperate and drive all types of equipment - motorized and non motorized%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EPerform and show competence in preventive maintenance per established schedules on all ground support equipment%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3ERespond to requests for on-call maintenance after hours on all ground support equipment if GSE Manager deems necessary%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EProvide trouble-shooting and diagnostic assessment of ground support equipment as required%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EModify and overhaul power plant, drive-train, brake, electric and hydraulic systems%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EPrepare and paint ground support equipment to SP standards as required%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3ERemove malfunctioning ground support equipment from service and ensure GSE is not returned to service until malfunction has been properly diagnosed and repaired%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3ERespond to emergency service calls as well as accidents involving ground support equipment%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EPick-up parts and material required for ground support equipment maintenance and repair%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EOwn and demonstrate proper use of tools, diagnostic equipment, etc. required for equipment maintenance and repair%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EComplete all maintenance/repair documentation consistent with carrier, station, airport authority, municipal, state, federal and SP%26nbsp; requirements%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EComply with all federal, provincial, municipal, airport authority and carrier security requirements%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EWill retain a motor vehicle driver's license for both air side / non airside in good standing at all times%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EFollow all safety guidelines set out by WCB, EPA, WHIMIS, and SP management%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EKeep GSE shop and its equipment clean and serviceable at all times, report any and all deficiencies to management%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EFuel equipment as necessary with full regard for all safety and environmental requirements.%3C/LI%3E%0A%3CLI%3EWill liaise with Ramp management, customers and staff in a professional manner when needed%3C/LI%3E%3C/UL%3E%0A%3CDIV%3EThe list is not exhaustive and may vary depending on location and local customer requirements.%3C/DIV%3E
