Are you old school hospitality with modern ways of working? We are seeking a super star GENERAL MANAGER for our FLAG SHIP destination pub with rooms. HUSH HEATH HOSPITALITY are a small but growing collection of individual destination venues in Kent and London. We have an opportunity in our flag ship venue THE GOUDHURST INN in the beautiful Kent countryside.
We need an entrepreneur who manages with conviction and courage making decisions quickly and can be proactive to the needs of our guests. Someone who isn't afraid of making decisions and can take ownership of the business from hosting to managing the P&L. If you know your grapes from your apples, your cab franc from your cab sauv and your whisky from your whiskey then I want to meet you.
You must have experience managing a high food sales business, have a passion for viticulture and wine and be extremely numerate. This is not a standard pub GM job, and would suit someone with real passion, drive and energy. You will be supported by the owners who live close by, a friendly operations team and polite finance department. We develop our teams from within, coach and mentor throughout your career and are as loyal to our team as can be. You need to love our industry so that friendly service is second nature, inspiring team mates is easy and being the host is part of you.
