Time Recruitment is working alongside one of the UK's premier health care providers in selecting suitable candidates for a Home Manager position which has opened up in Blackburn, Lancashire. The location is quiet and residential, but not too far from the local shops. The existing Home Manager has been promoted internally having made a really positive impact on the facility so whoever takes the job will be able to hit the ground running. Housing up to 90 residents with a variety of care needs (nursing, respite, dementia and palliative), the facility received an overall Good assessment in its most recent CQC assessment. The facility is split into three separate units or houses, each with around 30 residents. Our client is now looking for someone to take the reigns and maintain the progress that has been made over recent years, cementing the home's reputation within the local community.

We are looking for an experienced manager with a Registered Manager Award and/or NVQ Level 4/5 in Management. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with an active NMC pin, but applications from individuals with a proven managerial track record will be considered. The most important thing is that you are a strong manager with an excellent background in your sector. We are looking for someone with excellent leadership and communication skills who is able to motivate a large team and forge strong relationships with local authorities, external assessors and the public at large. You will be supported by an experienced Clinical Services Manager in all clinical operations.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

- A proven managerial track record.
- A record of managing staffing and rotas efficiently.
- Strong financial acumen.
- The ability to sell and improve the performance of a business.

If you have achieved this in a care home setting and have a nurse registration, all the better.
