LOCATION: Whittlesey, Peterborough
JOB TITLE: 7.5 Tonne Car Transporter Driver
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive depending on experience.
WORKING HOURS: 4 days on (8-5pm) and 2 days off + On call
THE COMPANY: Our client has depots in Peterborough, Huntingdon and Cambridge and have been in business for more than 24 years providing all roadside services and recovery to all areas within the UK. They have an exiting opportunity available for a 7.5 Tonne Car Transporter Driver to join their team.
THE ROLE: For the role of a 7.5 Tonne Car Transporter Driver, you will be collecting and delivery motor vehicles.
Key Responsibilities/Duties of a 7.5 Tonne Car Transporter Driver to include:-
• Collecting vehicles from the roadside
• Delivering vehicles to the required location
• Completing the required paperwork
• Ensuring vehicle checks are completed before leaving the depot
THE CANDIDATE: The successful 7.5 Tonne Car Transporter Driver does not need to have experience within a similar role. You will need to have good communication skills and be a team player as this is a customer facing role. You will need to live within a commutable distance to either Peterborough, Huntingdon or Cambridge.
Key experience essential for the role of 7.5 Tonne Car Transporter Driver :-
• CPC
• Full UK Licence
• Digi-tacho is advantageous but not essential
