Temporary Employment Relations Specialist Adviser

FINTEC recruit is seeking a Temporary Employment Relations Specialist Adviser for a 7 to 8 month duration. This is a contract position with a salary of £35k. This position is covering central Scotland and North East England; you can be based anywhere in Scotland from Inverness to Edinburgh or further south. There will be some travel to sites and you will be required to have a current driving license, mileage allowances paid or reimbursement for flights/trains etc. and accommodation paid by the company when staying away from home.

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Temporary Employment Relations Specialist Adviser your responsibilities will include the following:

• Disciplinary & Disciplinary Appeals

   

• Grievance and dispute resolution

   

• Suspensions

   

• Whistleblowing

   

• Discrimination

   

• Consultation and negotiation of contractual changes

   

• Performance Management - specifically capability

   

• Redundancy

   

• Absence/Occupational Health Referral Management

   

• Provide HR induction for all people managers and monitor and evaluate any additional training/coaching required to ensure competence and compliance with HR policies, procedures and processes

   

• Training and coaching in ER areas, legislative topics and HR processes

   

• Support in the effective resolution of all litigation matters including ACAS pre claim conciliation and Employment Tribunal claims

   

• Case manage all disciplinary appeals (in relation to dismissals) supported by the HR Administrator

   

Requirements:

The successful candidate for the Temporary Employment Relations Specialist Adviser role will have:-

• CIPD qualification or Employment Law Qualification

   

• Strong and up to date knowledge of employment law & HR best practice

   

• In depth experience of dealing with complex employee relations issues

   

• Experience in coaching, training and knowledge transfer
